3 Betrieb
Zum Betrieb sind die LED Flutlichtstrahler auf einem festen und trockenen Untergrund
zu befestigen. Folgende umweltbedingte Einflüsse können unerwünschte Wirkungen
auf das Produkt haben und sind daher zu vermeiden
saurer Regen und Boden / Streusalz / Dünger
chemische Substanzen mit aggressiver oder abrasiver Wirkung an dem Gerät
hoher Salzgehalt in der Luft
Reinigungsmittel
extreme Hitze
4 Wartung, Reparatur, Reinigung
4.1 Wartung
Führen Sie in regelmäßigen Abständen (und vor jeder Inbetriebnahme) eine Sichtprü-
fung an dem Gerät durch.
4.2 Reparatur
Leuchtmittel wechseln
Das LED Leuchtmittel hat im normalen Gebrauch eine lange Lebensdauer. Sollte es
dennoch zu Schäden, Störungen oder einem Ausfall kommen, wenden Sie sich zum
Austausch des Leuchtmittels an ihren Fachhändler. Führen Sie keine Reparaturen an
den Geräten selber durch! Bevor Sie Reinigungs- oder Wartungsarbeiten an dem
Gerät durchführen ist dies von der Energieversorgung zu trennen. Lassen Sie das
Gerät genügend abkühlen um Verbrennungen auf der Haut zu vermeiden.
4.3 Reinigung
Reinigen Sie das Gerät regelmäßig mit einem weichen, leicht angefeuchteten Tuch.
Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel.
5 Montage
Vor dem Arbeiten an dem Gerät ist dieses von der Energieversorgung zu trennen.
Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
5.1 Auspacken
Entnehmen Sie das Gerät vorsichtig aus seiner Verpackung und entfernen Sie jegli-
chen Transportschutz.
5.2 Montageort
Die Geräte sind nur für eine Montage an der Wand, der Decke und dem Boden geeig-
net.
Installieren Sie das Gerät nur auf einem stabilen, ebenen, kippfesten und trockenen
Untergrund.
Dichten Sie das Gerät nicht zusätzlich mit Silikon oder anderen Dichtmitteln ab.
Befestigen Sie das Gerät mit ausreichend dimensioniertem Befestigungsmaterial
am Montageort oder verwenden Sie geeignete Erdspieße auf lockerem Untergrund.
Der Erdspieß muss so im Erdreich verankert sein, dass das Gerät nicht umkippen
kann.
Die Umgebung darf nicht dauerhaft nass sein.
6 Inbetriebnahme
Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor Inbetriebnahme auf Schäden.
In einem Schadensfall darf das Gerät nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.
Verbinden Sie die offenen Kabelenden ausschließlich mit einer geeigneten DC-
Stromquelle und stellen Sie eine zuverlässige Verbindung sicher.
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich geeignete 12/24 VDC-Stromquellen. Der An-
schluß des Gerätes an ungeeignete Stromquellen kann die Zerstörung des
Gerätes sowie schwere und lebensbedrohende Verletzungen zur Folge haben!
Achten Sie auf richtige Polung: Blauer Draht = GND, Brauner Draht = +12/24VDC
Fehlerhafte Polung wird die Leuchte zerstören!
Das Produkt ist betriebsbereit.
7 Entsorgung
Die Entsorgung muss nach den national, sowie regional, gültigen Gesetzen und Vor-
schriften durchgeführt werden.
1 Introduction
1.1 Validity
The contents of this Operating Manual refers exclusively to the LED Floodlights defined
in the technical data that have been developed and built by the EFFEKTA Regeltech-
nik GmbH Company.
1.2 Storage
This Operating Manual constitutes a part of the product and must be stored in its
vicinity at all times so it is immediately available if needed.
1.3 Proper use
The LED Floodlights from the EFFEKTA Regeltechnik GmbH Company are only to be
used for the purposes of illumination.
The devices may only be operated according to the values as defined in the technical
data, in a fixed position and in a condition that is free of technical defects.
The devices must not be exposed to any mechanical stresses or to high levels of
contamination.
Following any long period of storage, the state of the device must be checked carefully
before it is used. The device may not be used by persons under the age of 14.
The devices are not designed to be used in environmental conditions that do not
comply with the manufacturer's regulations, or in atmospheres that are subject to
explosion, that are inflammable, that are sensitive to heat, that are radioactive, or that
are biologically or chemically contaminated.
All usage modes that are not expressly described in the Proper use section and
the corresponding conditions described therein are not permitted.
2 Safety Instructions
The device is a quality product manufactured according to the recognised rules of
technology and left the plant where it was produced in a technically and operationally
safe condition.
Nevertheless there are residual risks involved when assembling/disassembling, com-
missioning / decommissioning, operating and servicing / cleaning the device.
In the case of non-awareness of these residual risks, non-adherence to the warnings
given in this Operating Manual, incorrectly executed work and/or improper use of the
device, these residual risks can lead to serious injury or even death and/or material
damage.
Due to these latent, existent residual risks, the manufacturer is obligated to inform the
user about these risks:
We the manufacturer, fulfil this obligation of instruction through the descriptions in this
Operating Manual in general and through this chapter in particular.
Installation and assembly work on the electrical connection may only be carried
out by an approved electrician.
The devices may not be covered.
Do not attach any foreign bodies to the device.
The device may only be operated in a condition that is free of technical defects.
In the case of an error or a fault, the device must be disconnected from the power
supply immediately and may only be operated again once the error/fault has been
eliminated.
Never open parts of the device.
An error / fault is present if there is visible damage, if the device doesn't work perfectly,
e.g. the light flickers, the device is smouldering, giving off steam or generating sounds,
e.g. cracking noises, if there is a smell of burning and / or if it becomes evident that the
device is overheating.
The device may only be operated again after it has been checked by an electrician.
Never carry or fix the device in place by using the cable!
The device may not be used by persons with reduced sensory perception.
3 Operation
The LED Floodlights have to be secured to a fixed and dry surface for operation.
The following environmental influences can have undesired effects on the product
and for that reason should be avoided:
Acid rain and soil /de-icing salt /fertiliser / cleaning agents
Chemical substances that have an aggressive or abrasive effect on the device
High salt-content in the air
Extreme heat
4 Maintenance, repair, cleaning
4.1 Maintenance
Carry out a visual inspection of the device at regular intervals and before each
occasion when it is taken into service.
4.2 Repair
Changing the lamp
Under normal usage, the LED lamp has a long working life. However, should there
be damage, faults or a failure, please refer to your specialist dealer for replacing the
lamp.
Do not carry out any repairs on the device yourself.
The device must be disconnected from the power supply before commencing any
cleaning or maintenance work. Allow the device to cool down sufficiently to avoid
causing skin burns.
4.3 Cleaning
Clean the device at regular intervals with a soft, slightly dampened cloth. Do not use
any cleaning agents.
5 Assembly
The device must be disconnected from the power supply before commencing any
work on it. Allow the device to cool down.
5.1 Unpacking
Take the device carefully out of its packaging and remove any transport protection.
5.2 Installation location
The devices are only suitable for installation on a wall, a ceiling or on the ground.
Only install the device on a surface that is stable, level, dry and cannot tip over.
Do not use silicon or any other sealant to give additional sealing to the
device.
Use suitably dimensioned fixing material when installing the device at the
installation location or use suitable ground spikes on a loose terrain.
The ground spike must be anchored in the ground in such a way that the device
cannot tip over.
The surroundings must not be permanently wet.
6 Commissioning
Check the device for damage before commissioning it.
If you find any damage, the device may not be commissioned.
Connect the flying leads only to an appropriate DC power source and provide
a reliable connection.
Use suitable 12/24 VDC power sources. The connection of the unit to
unsuitable power sources may result in the destruction of the device as
well as serious and life-threatening injuries!
Observe correct polarity: Blue wire = GND, Brown wire = +12 / 24VDC
Incorrect polarity will destroy the light!
The product is ready for use.
7 Disposal
The device must be disposed of in accordance with valid national and regional
legislation and regulations.
