Short Description
The factory setting is the most used emulation MARTEL (MCP9810).
But it can also be set to DP1014 emulation. The adapter RS232
(Beco item no. 313989A) allows the printer to be connected to
devices that includes the old driver unit of MARTEL, such as ALC
2000 and Watch Expert II.
Setting the Emulation
DP1014 Emulation Setting:
1. Switch off the printer (MODE button).
2. Press and hold the MODE button until the STATUS LED after
approx. 5 seconds blinks five times.
3. Briefly press the MODE button once, wait until the STATUS
LED flashes once, then press briefly the MODE button again
once. The STATUS LED flashes once and after a short break the
printer turns on with the new setting.
MCP9810 Emulation Setting:
1. Switch off the printer (MODE button).
2. Press and hold the MODE button until the STATUS LED after
approx. 5 seconds blinks five times.
3. Briefly press the MODE button once, wait until the STATUS LED
flashes once, press the MODE button briefly twice. The STA-
TUS LED flashes twice and after a short break the printer turns
on with the new setting.
