Maintenance and cleaning
a) General
Never use water for cleaning.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these
may damage the housing causing discoloration and/or malfunction.
Do not apply too much pressure to the housing to prevent scratching.
• This product does not require maintenance. Maintenance or repairs may be carried out by
a professional only.
• Turn off the product and let it cool down sufficiently before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the housing with a clean, soft, dry and lint-free cloth.
b) Emptying the bottom cover
Always disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket before removing the
bottom cover.
• Switch off the product and disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket. Allow it to cool
down completely.
• Loosen the screw located on the side of the bottom cover.
• Remove the bottom cover by turning it slightly.
• Empty the bottom cover.
• If insects are stuck in the grille, remove them using a soft brush.
• Reattach the bottom cover after cleaning and reinstall the screw loosened previously.
c) Replacing the illuminant
Only an authorized expert may replace the illuminant.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
