Countdown Mode

In the countdown mode, a time of maximal 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds can be set.
Depending on the operating mode of the weekly switch timer, the device is switched off or on
after the timer has counted down.
Operating mode „ON" or „AUTO ON" (socket/appliance is switch on):
The connected device is switched off after the timer has counted down
Operating mode „OFF" or „AUTO OFF" (socket/device is switched off):
The connected device is switched on after the timer has counted down
When the countdown mode was started, all automatic switching programmes are deactivated
for the duration of the countdown! That means that the device is not switched on or of at the
times and weekdays programmed in the programme group until the timer has counted down.
Setting the timer and start of the countdown timer:
• From the time display, press the „MENU" button 2x until the symbol „CTD" appears on the
bottom right and the hours of the timer flash „0:00:00".
• Set the hours of the countdown timer with the „+1" or „-1" button (keep the respective button
pressed down for quick setting).
Press the „OK" button briefly to confirm.
• The minutes of the countdown timer start flashing; set the minutes with the „+1" or „-1" button
(keep the respective button pressed down for quick setting).
Press the „OK" button briefly to confirm.
• The seconds of the countdown timer start flashing; set the seconds with the „+1" or „-1" button
(keep the respective button pressed down for quick setting).
• The countdown timer is started by pressing the „OK" button briefly.
• When the timer has counted down (at 0:00:00), the front socket and the device connected to
it is switched on or off.
When the weekly switch timer is in „ON" or „AUTO ON" mode (socket/appliance
is switched on), the connected appliance will be switched off when the timer has
counted down.
When the weekly switch timer is in „OFF" or „AUTO OFF" mode (socket/device is
switched off), the connected device is switched on when the timer has counted
down.
Early termination of the countdown timer:
• If the countdown timer is to be terminated early, press the „MENU" button several times until
the timer is shown on the display.
When the weekly switch timer is on the display of time mode or the programming of
the switching times, the countdown timer cannot be reset!
• Then press the „RCL" button briefly.
The countdown timer is then reset to „0:00:00", the hours of the timer flash again (you can
now set a new time and restart the countdown timer as described above).
• Press the „MENU" button briefly to leave the setting mode and to return to the time display.
Alternatively, do not press any button for 2 minutes.
This deactivates the countdown timer and the weekly switch timer continues with its normal
switching program.

Random function

With the random function, the set switch on/off times are delayed by 4 to 32 minutes.
The random function can only be used for the switching times of the programme
groups, but not for the countdown timer.
To turn the random function on or off, press the „-1" button briefly.
When the random function is turned on „RND" is flashing on the bottom right on the display.
Reset
In order to reset the weekday switch timer to the factory settings and to delete all programming,
keep the countersunk „RST" button pressed for several seconds. All display segments are
shown on the display, then the weekday switch timer is ready for operation.
Please note:
All settings and programming are lost upon reset!
Activating the lighting of the LC display/night light function
With the switch „ " the lighting of the display can be switched on or off.
It can also be used as night light due to its large size and brightness.
Care and Cleaning
Before cleaning the product, disconnect the appliance from the weekly switch timer. Discon-
nect then the weekly switch timer from the power supply by pulling it out of the mains socket.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste. Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
