There is no need to complete the entire
treatment in a single session. If it suits
you better, you may easily interrupt the
treatment and resume it later that day.
After treatment, turn off the instrument
by pressing the On/Off switch (2) and
disconnect the plug from the socket.
The first few times you are using the Lite
Pad you may feel some eye fatigue or a
slight headache. These side effects usually
vanish quite soon.
Make sure to consult your physician before
using the Lite Pad:

If you are or have been suffering from
severe depression;
-
If you are hypersentive to light (for
instance
because
epilepsy);
-
If you are suffering from an eye
disease;
-
If you are using certain prescription
drugs
(especially
psychotropic
tablets);
-
In case of high blood pressure;
-
If you have any questions regarding
light therapy in view of your specific
health status.
7 Natural sounds
You are able to choose from 6 relaxing
natural sounds (3):
1. Ocean
2. Crickets
3. Drops
4. Bird
5. Heart
6. Brook
of
diabetes
antidepressants,
drugs,
or
malaria
Press the appropriate button to play the
sound of your choice.
You can activate the timer by pressing
the same button again. 15 minutes are
added to the timer every time you press
the button:
Press 1x > timer 15 minutes, timer
indicator (5) flashes 1x
Press 2x > timer 30 minutes, timer
indicator (5) flashes 2x
Press 3x > timer 45 minutes, timer
indicator (5) flashes 3x
Press 4x > timer 60 minutes, timer
indicator (5) flashes 4x

You can set the volume of the sound by
using the volume button (4).
8 Cleaning and maintenance
Always be sure to disconnect the plug
from the socket and allow the instrument
to cool down before cleaning it. The
outside may be cleaned with a moist
cloth. Make sure that no water can enter
the instrument. Never use any abrasive
cleaners, abrasive sponges, or liquids such
as alcohol, benzene, or acetone.
9 Waste management
Neither this instrument nor the
lamps are to be disposed of with
the household waste. Consumers
are obliged to send all electric or
electronic instruments, whether or not
they contain any hazardous materials, to
a depository for environmental pollutants
