General Information
The multipurpose ergonomic work chair „Coburg Ergolift 1520" was developed according to the
latest ergonomic knowledge. The special ergonomic saddle seat supports an upright and open –
consequently active – seat posture. So the strains arising by conventional seat posture will be
reduced in a high degree – the physical and mental capability will be improved.
The height of seat is 51 – 76cm.
The safety base is fitted with 5 smoothly running twin casters for hard floors (on demand also for
"soft" floors).
The stool has a gas spring which makes it possible to adjust the height smoothly by means of a
below fixed wobble plate.
On demand we can also deliver the "Ergolift 1520" in an antistatic version.
Recommendation for Use
Adjust the height exactly according to your body height. You will achieve the correct position for
sitting when the thighs are positioned in an angle of 45° and when both feet have full contact to the
floor. Consequently you sit relaxed and relieve neck and shoulders. You will realize that you are
sitting higher than on a normal chair.
Get yourself accustomed to this new position. Take your time! At the beginning you may have
some "saddle pain". For compensation simply adjust the seat a little bit upwards.
Neck- and shoulder muscles need their time to accept balance and reduction of tension.
You will enjoy the comfort with which you can now at work move easily arms, head and the upper
part of the body.
Your advantages: You can work still more exactly and feel more strength in your hands.
Furthermore you will enjoy a considerably better sight because your head and neck are moving
without tension in the right positioning. Stomach and chest will no longer be pressed. Lungs and
digestion are working much better.

Operating Instructions
The height adjustment will be effected by pulling the hand control lever upwards. In the contrary to
moving down, the chair has to be unloaded from the weight of body for moving up at the same
time when activating the hand control lever. Movement will be running smoothly by means of a
gas spring.
