Dear customer,
we are delighted that you have decided on purchasing our deco-
rative solar light. If you have any questions, please contact cus-
tomer service via our website:
Proper use
❐ The product is designed to decorate outdoor areas. The
storage battery of the solar unit charges during the daytime
via the solar cell fi eld. The accumulated energy allows the
LED light to illuminate at night.
❐ The product is designed for private use and is not intended
for commercial use. Only use the product as instructed. Any
other use is deemed improper. Store the instructions in a safe
place.
❐ Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts
at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to
normal wear and tear.
Important notes
❐ Attention! Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging materi-
al away from children and pets.
❐ The product is not a toy! Keep children and pets away from
the product to avoid injuries.
❐ Do not disassemble the product (except for removing the
storage battery prior to disposal of the solar unit). Only have
the product repaired by a qualifi ed workshop or by customer
service.
❐ If a storage battery has leaked, ensure that the battery acid
does not come into contact with your skin, eyes, and mucous
membranes. In case of contact with battery acid, rinse the af-
fected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and seek
immediate medical attention.
❐ Storage batteries may not be disassembled, disposed of in
fi re, immersed in liquids or short circuited.
❐ Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to severe
percussions.
❐ Do not use the product if it exhibits damages.
❐ Never submerge the product in water or other liquids! It is
only splash-proof.
❐ In the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g. storm, hail)
or if you do not intend to use the product for a prolonged
period of time, turn it off and store the product in a dry place.
❐ To enable an automatic activation of the LED light the article
may not be situated near other light sources such as street
lamps or other lamps.
❐ Ensure that the solar fi eld is always clean in order to ensure
the greatest possible collection of light. Therefore, clean it
occasionally with a damp cloth.
❐ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products to
clean the product! They could damage the surface.

Start-up
•
The solar unit's storage battery must charge for ap-
proximately 6 to 8 hours in order for the LED light to
illuminate.
•
Upon delivery, the ground spike for the solar unit
shaft is located in an inverted position within the
shaft!
1. Unpack the product contents and remove all protective wrap-
pers (e.g. from the solar fi eld) and stickers, if present. Check
all parts for possible transport damages. Should you identify
any transport damages, please promptly consult customer
service.
2. Insert the fl amingo feet into the fl amingos and the three small
ground spikes into the brackets on the fl amingo feet.
3. Insert the shaft into the solar unit and the large ground spike
into the shaft of the solar unit. Note: Upon delivery, the ground
spike is located in an inverted position in the shaft of the solar
unit. Pull it out, turn the tip over and insert it into the shaft so
that the tip of the ground spike is pointing out.
4. Position the solar lights so that the solar fi eld is able to absorb
direct sunlight the whole day preferably (ideally in an open
area, not under trees etc.) by pushing the ground spike into
the ground. Make sure that the solar lights do not pose a
tripping hazard.
5. The On / Off-switch is located on the underside of the solar
unit. Push it to the On position to activate the solar unit: Sun-
light will now charge the storage battery. At dusk, the LED
light will automatically turn on. At dawn, the LED light turn off
and the storage battery recharges via the solar fi eld.
6. To deactivate the solar light push the On / Off-switch to the
OFF position.
Disposal
The packaging material can be recycled. Dispose of the
packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner and
make it available for the recyclable material collection-
service.
Dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly
manner. The product does not belong in the household
garbage. Dispose of it at a recycling centre for old elec-
trical and electronic appliances. For more information,
please contact the administration in your community.
Batteries and storage batteries must be removed and
disposed of separately before disposing of the product.
To protect the environment, batteries and storage bat-
teries may not be disposed of together with normal
household waste. Instead they must be turned in at coll-
ection points. Be sure to observe applicable legal regu-
lations on battery disposal.
Removing the storage battery
Loosen the screws of the solar unit. Afterwards, you
can carefully remove the storage battery.
