MONTAGE UND ANSCHLUSS: Gerät an einer möglichst feuchten Stelle aufstellen. Das Erdkabel wird an die

(siehe Fig.1). Den Erdpfahl soweit als möglich in den Boden eintreten und evtl. zusätzlich einen ca. 1m langen Erd-
pfahl ( 1a ) verwenden (siehe Fig. 1). Bei trockenem Boden und langem Zaun einen zusätzlichen Erdleiter (2a) mit
Zwischenerdern ( 2b ) verlegen (siehe Fig. 2)
INBETRIEBNAHME UND KONTROLLE (siehe Fig. 3):
9V Extra Power / BV 2600 (Anzeige 3b): Gerät mit Drucktastenschalter (3a) einschalten - nach einigen Sekunden
leuchtet im Fenster ( 3a ) eine grüne LED im Rhythmus der Impulse auf. Das Gerät gibt Impulse an den Zaun ab.
Leuchtet die LED nicht auf, ist entweder die Batterie leer oder es liegt ein Defekt im Gerät vor.
BV 3900 (Anzeige 3c): Das Gerät verfügt über zwei Kontrollanzeigen anhand zweier Leuchtdioden zur Darstellung
der Qualität der Batteriespannung und der Zaunspannung. Die links angebrachte LED dient zur Anzeige der Zaun-
spannungsgüte. Blinkt diese LED im Rhythmus der Zaunimpulse GRÜN auf, so ist die Zaunspannung größer als
2000 Volt und das Gerät arbeitet ordnungsgemäß und die Zaunanlage ist in Ordnung. Blinkt diese LED ROT, so ist
die Zaunspannung kleiner als 2000 Volt. In diesem Fall ist die Zaunanlage zu überprüfen, da eine zu hohe Ableitung
vom Zaun zur Erde vorhanden ist.
Die rechts angebrachte LED dient der Anzeige der Batteriespannung. Blinkt diese LED im Rhythmus der Impulse
zu
GRÜN auf, ist die Batteriespannung in Ordnung und das Gerät funktioniert ordnungsgemäß. Sobald diese LED

im Rhythmus der Impulse ROT aufblinkt, ist die Batteriespannung nicht mehr ausreichend. In diesem Fall ist die
Batterie zum nächst möglichen Zeitpunkt auszutauschen. Blinkt keine der beiden Leuchtdioden, ist entweder die
Batterie leer oder es liegt ein Defekt am Gerät vor.
BATTERIEWECHSEL : Gerät öffnen (siehe Fig. 4) und Batterie wechseln (Fig. 5), dabei auf richtige Polarität der
Anschlusskabel achten ( rot an + ).

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION: Drive the ground rod until it stops into a wet place close to the energizer.

It is recommended to use an additional 1m rod ( 1a ) under dry conditions (see Fig. 1), and in case of long fences
and dry conditions use an additional ground wire ( 2a ) with intermediate rods ( 2b ) (see Fig. 2).
OPERATION AND CONTROL (see Fig. 3):
9V Extra Power / BV 2600 (Indication 3b): Turn on with button (Fig. 3a). After few seconds a green LED is flashing
with the pulses (see window 3a). The controller gives pulse into the fence. If there is no flashing either the battery
is flat or there is a fault in the controller.
BV 3900 (Indication 3c): The controller consists of two control displays with two illuminating diodes to show
the quality of the battery charge and the fence tension. The LED on the left shows the performance of the fence
tension. If the LED flashes green within the rhythm of the fence pulses, the fence tension is higher than 2000V and
the controller is working properly and the fence equipment is okay. If the LED flashes red within the rhythm of the
pulses, the fence tension is under 2000V. In this case you need to check the fence equipment, because the con-
duction from the fence to the earth is too high.
The LED on the right shows the charge of the battery. If this LED flashes green within the rhythm of the pulse, the
battery charge is okay and the controller is working properly. As soon as this LED flashes red within the rhythm,
the battery charge is not adequate. In this case you need to change the battery at the next possible opportunity.
If the two illuminating diodes are not flashing, there might be two reasons: The battery is empty or the controller
has malfunctioned.
CHANGING THE BATTERY: Separate the upper energizer unit from the battery housing (Fig. 4) and change the
battery (Fig. 5) - mind the right polarity - red to + .
