Please read the operating instructions
carefully, keep them in a safe place and
observe them!
This appliance is intended only for
private use and not for commercial
applications.
    
Danger of electric shock!
Connect and operate the appliance only
in accordance with the details on the
nameplate.
The dehumidifi er is designed for connection
to a 220/240V and 50 Hz mains power
supply. The power socket must be equipped
with a protection conductor.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Do not use the unit if the power cord or
appliance appear to be damaged.
Remove the plug from its socket after use
or if the appliance malfunctions.
To avoid possible dangers, repairs to the
appliance, for example the replacement of a
damaged power cord, must only be carried
out by our customer service personnel.
The air inlet aperture and air outlet aperture
must under no circumstances be covered.
To avoid obstructing the free fl ow of air, the
appliance must be positioned at least 10 cm
away from any wall.
The dehumidifi er must not be used in laun-
dry premises. Do not position the appliance
close to baths, showers or swimming pools.
The condensate water is not suitable for
drinking.

Important notes

● Before connecting the power cord 12
always ensure that the rotary switch 1a is
set to "off".
● The appliance may emit a steady whis-
tling or a gurgling sound when it is turned
on or switched to dehumidifi er mode.
● If the dehumidifi er is switched off and
then immediately on again, there may be
a delay of about three minutes before the
compressor restarts.
● The room temperature may increase
somewhat while the compressor is in
operation.
● The recommended operating temperature
for the dehumidifi er is between 5° and
35°C.
