maar laat deze recyclen. Vraag uw gemeente naar het adres van het recyclingbedrijf in
uw buurt.
Garantie
Op dit apparaat geeft de fabrikant aanvullend bij de wettelijke garantierechten tegenover de
verkoper, nog 2 JAAR GARANTIE vanaf koopdatum (volgens aankoopbewijs) in
overeenstemming met onderstaande voorwaarden. Deze garantieperiode geldt uitsluitend voor
de eerste koper en kan niet worden overgedragen. Deze garantie geldt uitsluitend voor gebruik
onder normale woonomstandigheden van een particulier huishouden. Uw wettelijke rechten
worden door deze garantie niet beperkt. De garantie geldt uitsluitend voor materiaal- en
fabricagefouten en is beperkt tot ruil of reparatie van de defecte apparaten. De garantieservice is
in elk geval beperkt tot de normale prijs van het apparaat. De garantie geldt niet voor
slijtageonderdelen, batterijen en accu's. Deze garantie geldt uitsluitend op voorwaarde dat de
bedienings- en onderhoudshandleidingen worden gevolgd. Schade die te wijten is aan
misbruik, onjuist gebruik, externe invloeden, stof, vuil, water of algemeen aan afwijkende
milieuomstandigheden, en schade die veroorzaakt is door overspanning, accu's, batterijen of
een niet geschikte stroomvoorziening, zijn van de garantie uitgesloten. De garantie vervalt, als
reparaties of ingrepen werden uitgevoerd door personen die hiervoor niet gemachtigd zijn, of als
dit apparaat wordt uitgerust of gebruikt met aanvullende onderdelen of toebehoren die niet op
dit apparaat zijn afgestemd. Binnen de garantieperiode kunt u bij de bevoegde verkoper terecht
voor informatie over de retourvoorwaarden. Retourzendingen dienen goed verpakt en franco
huis te geschieden. Niet-geautoriseerde of ongefrankeerde zendingen worden niet
aangenomen. Reparaties kunnen slechts worden uitgevoerd, als een uitgebreide beschrijving
van het probleem is bijgevoegd. Retourneer bovendien alleen complete systemen. Na afloop van
de garantieperiode zijn reparaties te betalen en niet altijd mogelijk. Garantiewerkzaamheden
leiden niet tot een verlenging van de garantietermijn en starten evenmin een nieuwe
garantietermijn. De garantietermijn voor ingebouwde onderdelen eindigt met de
garantietermijn voor het complete apparaat. Voor zover een aansprakelijkheid niet dwingend
wettelijk is voorgeschreven, zijn verdergaande claims, met name met betrekking tot geleden
personen- of zaakschade door het gebruik of door geen of een gebrekkige werking van het
apparaat, uitgesloten.

www.pentatech.de. Keep these instructions in a safe place and should the need arise pass them
on to a third party.
Proper use
This wireless chime consists of a weatherproof doorbell with transmitter FD2K and a chime with
receiver FD2G. The transmitter has a unique coding which has already been enrolled to the
receiver. The set can be extended by other transmitters (doorbell FD2K or motion detector FD2B)
as well as chimes FD2G. When pressed, the doorbell sends a wireless signal to the chime which
responds with a selectable chime sound and/or an optical strobe signal. The wireless doorbell
can be used as doorbell as well as a mobile pager, e.g. for elederly people, it can be used at the
counter of a shop or at a reception.
The doorbell is protected against sprayed water (IP44) and thus also suitabel for outdoor use. It
is powered by a 12 V MN21/23A alkaline battery (supplied). The wireless chime is to be
connected to a 230 V AC, 50Hz mains outlet and is for indoor use only.
Any other use or change of the appliance is improper use. No liability shall be assumed for
consequential damage as well as damage which is caused by improper use or incorrect
operation. This appliance is not intended to be used by people (including children) with restricted
physical, sensory or mental capacities, or a lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are
supervised by, or receive instructions how to use the appliance from, a person responsible for
their safety. Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.

Operation
!
Open the housing of the doorbell by levering it carefully with a screwdriver at the gap [8] at
the side of the doorbell.
!
Loosen the two screws [9] that fix the circuit board in the cover of the doorbell, and remove
the circuit board.
!
Insert the supplied battery (pay attention to the markings of the polarity BAT+ and BAT-
on the circuit board) and fix the circuit board with the screws.
