Inserting/changing batteries

Motion detector
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the motion
detector. Push the locking mechanism towards the battery
compartment lid and pull it off.
2. Insert the batteries. You will need 4 x 1.5 V type AA batte-
ries. Make sure the polarity (+/-) is correct.
3. Return the battery compartment cover to its previous po-
sition and push it closed so that it audibly locks into place.
You can also use the motion detector with a mains ad-
apter. It is not included in the product contents. Make
sure the mains voltage is correct (DC 6 V
Remote control
1. Screw open the back of the remote control.
2. Remove the lid.
3. Insert the batteries. You will need 3 x 1.5 V type LR44/
AG13 batteries. Make sure the polarity (+/-) is correct.
4. Put the lid on and screw it back into place.
At regular intervals, check whether the batteries still have suf-
fi cient power.
Positioning
You can set up the motion detectors in a suitable po-
sition or use the hanging fi xture to hang it on the wall.
Mounting on the wall
1. Use the enclosed fastening material to mount the hanging
fi xture. The type of mounting material depends on the
composition of your wall. Please also be absolutely sure to
observe the safety notes for mounting.
2. Securely clamp the motion detector on the hanging fi xture
using the recess on the back.
3. Use the spherical joint of the hanging fi xture to set the cor-
rect position.
