Fire-fighting procedures
• Bring persons in the vicinity of the
appliance to safety! If possible, close
the valve on the gas cylinder. Cool the
gas cylinder with water. While doing so,
ensure your own safety. A spontaneous,
explosive re-ignition is possible.

• High gas concentrations can cause
asphyxiation. Possible symptoms
include loss of mobility and loss
of consciousness. The affected
person does not realise he or she is
asphyxiating. In low concentrations,
gases can cause feelings of dizziness,

• There is an acute risk of hypothermia
for the affected person. Call the emer-
gency services immediately!
• In cases where clothing catches fire,
extinguish flames immediately with
water or a heavy blanket.
• In case of burns: leave clothing on.
• In case of scalding: remove clothing

• Apply cold water to the affected area
of the body for at least 15 minutes,
until the pain subsides.
