Operation instruction
WARNING:
Do not expose eyes and skin to ultraviolet light. Rays may be harmful to unprotected eyes and
skin. If discomfort or pain is experienced please visit a physician immediately.
Remove isolation strips between batteries before using.
• UV detection: press the UV button and shine on the indicated spots on the banknote (as shown on the pic-
tures). The fl uorescent characteristics will become visible.
• Magnetic detection: press the MG button (the red lamp will light up) and rub the sensor strongly on the
indicated spots of the banknote (as shown on the pictures). The detector beeps when it detects magnetic ink or
metal thread.
Battery replacement:
Please replace batteries immediately when a weak sound or darker light is released. At fi rst, unscrew the battery
cover; then take out the exhausted batteries and put in new batteries; fi nally, screw back the battery cover.
