Switching the meter OFF
To switch-off the device press and hold the button for about 6 Seconds. This is not possible
•
If you are still in the setup menu.
The device can switch-off automatically when this option is selected in the setup
•
Menu (see paragraph about the setup Menu).
In case of a very low battery level potentially causing wrong measurements, the
•
meter will turn-off automatically. Before it will indicate „Battery low".
•
Practical tips for the user
The airflow through the sensor cover.
The Airhumidity and Airtemperature
•
Sensors are located behind the cover. It is very important to keep the openings open for free air
circulation to ensure fast and precise measurements.
The Airhumidity and Airtemperature Sensors need time to adapt to their environment. Wait at least 2
•
minutes before taking the readings. This time can be shortened by stimulating the airflow along the
sensors.
One of the important features of this device is the calculation of the Dewpoint. If the surface
•
temperature, measured with the supplied probe, is lower or within 3 degrees Celsius of the calculated
Dewpoint, than condensation may form on the surface. This danger is indicated by blinking of the display
and an acoustic signal.
