DC TO 230 V AC POWER INVERTER
Please read user manual carefully before connecting and
using the inverter!
Useful applications
Run portable TV sets, cooling devices, notebooks & other computers, radios,
video, DVD- & CD players, normal and energy saving lamps, fans, communication
equipments, fax, copiers, electric tools etc. See typical application examples listed
at the end of this manual, depending on the power classes of our inverter models.
Intended use, installation and safety precautions
The inverter is designed to invert the DC power supplied by a 12 V or 24 V lead-
acid battery power system (depending on model) to 230 V 50 Hz AC standard
home power system and can supply electrical items designed for home or industrial
use in a portable or mobile environment.
Safety precautions must be observed because many electrical items designed for
home or industrial use do not meet the safety standard requirements of a mobile
environment- do not use electrical home appliances outdoor or in wet
environments.
European or national regulations may restrict the use of 230 V devices in cars
during motion, as well as the installation requirements for car accessories.
Never use inverters, which are connected by detachable power
connections in a car during motion.
The "e " approval for inverters, which can be used in a car during
motion, is only valid if the inverter is correctly mounted in the car
and correctly connected to the car's power network.
Only portable inverters may be connected to cigarette lighter sockets below
150 W consumption on the 12 V side. Please look to the brand plate of the
230 V appliance. If this shows 100 W or less at 230 V the inverter may be
connected via cigarette lighter cable set. In all other cases do not use the
cigarette lighter cable (if supplied with the inverter) and better provide a fixed
connection to 12 V or 24 V battery.
Use inverters with alligator clips battery connections or detachable cables only for
camping and temporary use, when car is not in motion . Never connect such cables
