Trouble-shooting
The green LED does not light up
Cause 1:
R-Link cable between T+A system and
adapter not properly plugged in
Remedy:
check cable, plug in firmly
Cause 2:
T+A system is switched OFF
Remedy:
switch mains power switch of T+A system
ON
Cause 3
older R-systems (before 2004) deliver no
supply voltage on R-Link Bus

sult T+A service dept. or your distributor
device can be controlled by the RS232 system
but certain commands are not executed
LED of the RS232 adapter flashes red (short flash) (ap-
prox. 0,1 sec) when RS232 telegram is sent
Cause 1:
error in command telegram
Remedy:
check RS232 command according to the
rules of the T+A communication protocol
Cause 2:
command is not supported by the device
Remedy
In principal all the commands of the original
remote control are supported
check the users manual of the T+A de-
vice to see, if the command is supported
There are some additional commands for the
RS232

Cause 3:
software of the T+A device does not support
all commands
Remedy
update to latest software version

tor)
