Short Hair Cuts, Complete Flat and Bristle Haircuts
Use the longest comb attachment and cut from the nape to the
crown. Hold the unit flat against the head and move it slowly
through the hair. Use the same technique on the sides, cutting
from the bottom to the top.
Cut the front hair up to the crown against the direction of
growth of the hair. Then bring the sides into line (Figure 8).
For a flat haircut, use a flat comb and not a comb attachment.
Cut the upper hair using it. Then use a comb attachment
suitable for a short haircut to cut the hair sharply to the nape.
Comb the hair and look for any uneven areas. Trim the
sideburns and nape (Figure 9).
If the hair on the sides and at the nape is to be cut short and
sharp, proceed using the comb attachments on the following
plan:
Adjustment Lever
The adjustment lever is used for
setting the cut length without
using the comb attachments. If
the lever is at its highest setting,
the hair will be cut very short.
When you push the lever down,
the hair stays longer.
The cut length of the lowest
setting is comparable to using
comb BLENDING.
