DIALLING
DTMF/TONE is the default dialling mode.

PULSE Dialling
DigAlert 361
With the connected to a live line,

press PULSE before selecting
mode. This is confirmed by a single high
beep. Dialling mode will automatically revert
to Tone when the line is disconnected or if
DigAlert 361
is switched off.
Mixed Pulse and Tone dialling
Select Pulse mode as above and dial the
*
Pulse digits. Press (Tone) then dial the
Tone digits (the star will not be dialled out).
This can be stored in memory.
Storing a number in memory

STO MEM
There are ten memory locations, one under
each of the dialling digits.
While connected to a line and in TALK
mode:

Press STO to enter STORE mode.

Press MEM and a location (0-9).
Enter the telephone number to be stored.

Press STO to store.
ln memory you may also store

Flash or Pause . These will be
redialled as they were entered.
Dialling a number from a memory

While connected to a line and in TALK
mode:

Press MEM then the location digit 0-9.
The stored number under that button will be
redialled.

Redial and Pause

Press LNR/PAUSE immediately after
off-hook to redial the previous number dialled.

In STORE mode press LNR/PAUSE
insert a Pause in a memory. If within the first 5
entries, this inserts a 2 second pause in the
dialling out string, if not, then it halts the

dialling. Press LNR/PAUSE to resume.

A timed line break is generated when the

the hands-free function. If

In TALK mode, two way hands-free is
possible thanks to its hands-free microphone
located at the base of the keypad area. The
microphone is normally muted (Centre LED

POSSIBLE CONDITIONS
DigAlert 361
does not cut-off the beginning of
words, it switches smoothly and silently, and
adapts its settings to cope with the ambient
* noise, so that no adjustments are necessary.

For bests results, stay close to the hands-free
microphone (base of keypad) and only use

the VOL key if the receive level is too low
for a normal communication to take place.

Ground-start lines
On units fitted with optional third wire
