Recommended installation in
riser pipes.
In case of strong vibrations,
provide support for piping and
flow sensor. If necessary, install
a pulsation dampener.
To get a precise reading, the
transducer must be completely
filled.
To get precise readings, keep to
inlet pipe section of 3 × ND and
outlet section of 2 × ND.
Pull pipelines as much as pos-
sible parallel and then tighten
with the recommended torque.
Mounting angle with sensor
neck upwards +/- 45°
Avoid
Avoid installation in downpipes,
danger of faulty readings.
Provide support for flow sensor
where piping is long.
Avoid faulty readings resulting
from partly filled pipelines.
Avoid faulty readings resulting
from installation close to valves,
elbows, pumps etc..
Install untensioned flow sensor.
Air bubbles can contact electro-
des and disturbe measuring
