1/ DIRECTIONS FOR USE
For reasons of stability, and to protect the screw threads from crooked tightening, it is essential to
assemble all the components by hand, and to hand-tighten all the screws initially. Once assembly is
complete, you can tighten the screws more firmly. We recommend that you use the tools supplied.
PROTECT THE SURFACE: :
Use placemats, tablecloths, or coasters to avoid stains and scratches caused by crockery, glasses,
and utensils.
Use placemats under hot pots and pans to avoid heat marks.
AVOID SHARP OBJECTS :
Do not cut directly on the table. Use a cutting board to avoid damaging the surface.
AVOID MOISTURE :
Wipe up spills immediately to avoid stains and water damage.
Avoid placing potted plants directly on the table without a waterproof saucer to prevent water leaks.
TEMPERATURE AND LIGHT :
Avoid exposing the table to direct sunlight for long periods, as this could discolour the surface.
Keep the table away from extreme temperature variations to prevent cracking and warping.
2/ CARE AND MAINTENANCE
DAILY CLEANING :
Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust.
A slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by drying with a dry cloth.
Do not use abrasives or acidic products. Never use solvents.
THOROUGH CLEANING :
For wooden surfaces, use a specific wood cleaner or a mixture of warm water and mild soap.
Avoid harsh chemicals.
For glass surfaces, use a glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth to avoid streaking.
Additional tips :
Use furniture glides under the table legs to avoid scratching the floor and make it easier to move the
table.
Avoid overloading: do not overload the table with heavy objects to avoid distorting or damaging it.
By following these tips, you can preserve the appearance and functionality of your bedside table for
many years to come.
SOLID WOOD FURNITURE :
•
To revive the wood's appearance, or if the furniture has suffered damage (knocks, scratches,
etc.), it can be lightly sanded (180-240 grain) and varnished with or without stain.
RATTAN FURNITURE :
•
Do not place the rattan furniture near radiators or any other heat source as this can dry out the
material and lead to the formation of cracks.
FURNITURE WITH ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS :
•
Only trained personnel should replace or repair height adjusters with energy-storing mechanisms.
