5. Initial start up / Installation
5.1 Initial start up
Connect the motorhandpiece to the motorhandpiece socket (1) (bayonet lock).
Connect the foot swith to the foot switch socket (2). Plug the mains cable into the power supply
socket (3) on the control unit.

Basically, first attach the handpiece with the control unit before connecting the mains cable and
switching the control mechanism on.
5.2 Operation:

The motorhandpiece can be started with the optional foot switch or directly through the speed controller.
1. Turn the mains switch to „on"
2. Start the motorhandpiece with the foot switch
Select desired speed using the speed control on the control unit. Press and hold the foot switch.
The motor stops when the foot switch is released
3. Start the motorhandpiece without the foot switch
Set speed control to zero. The handpiece starts when the speed controller is started from zero.
The digital speed display shows the preset speed when the motorhandpiece stopped (see the red dot in
front of the first digit) when the motor runs it shows the current speed (there is no red dot).
