Das Filtersystem Fish Station besticht durch seine kompakte Bauweise und die übersichtliche Anordnung. Allgemeine Beschreibung des Systems Das Wasser fließt aus dem Aquarium über einen Überlaufschacht oder eine andere Überlaufeinrichtung in den mit Aktivkohle, Phosphatabsorber oder anderen Filtermaterialien befüllbaren Vorfilter.
  • Seite 3 Das Wasser fließt aus dem Aquarium über den Überlaufschacht oder eine andere Überlaufeinrichtung (z. B. ein Aqua Medic Überlaufkasten) auf den Vorfilter mit der Schublade. Hier wird es mechanisch gereinigt. Die Schublade ist mit blauem Filterschwamm gefüllt, der durch ein Filtervlies abgedeckt wird. Unterhalb des Filterschwammes befinden sich die beiden Filterbehälter mit Bactoballs als Biofilter.

  • Seite 6 5.3. Inbetriebnahme/Betrieb Ist der Abschäumer richtig montiert, kann er in Betrieb genommen werden. Nach Einschalten der Pumpe wird automatisch Luft eingezogen. Zur Verminderung der Geräuschentwicklung kann der Luftansaugschlauch auf den blauen Anschlussstutzen des im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Schalldämpfers gesteckt werden. Den Schalldämpfer befestigt man mit Hilfe der Halteplatte am Aquarium oder Filterbecken immer oberhalb des Wasserspiegels.

Description of the system The water is flowing from the aquarium via an overflow chamber or another overflow device into the prefilter filled with activated carbon, phosphate or other absorbent filter materials.

    4.1. Description of the system The water flows out of the aquarium via the overflow chamber - or another overflow device (e. g. an Aqua Medic Overflow Box) into the prefilter with the drawer.   • Seite 11 The venturi pump draws the water out of the aquarium or the filter chamber, mixes it in the pump housing with air which is then cut into small air bubbles by the Aqua Medic 3D needle wheel. This water/air mixture is pumped into the reaction pipe where the organic substances are taken up by air bubbles.
  • Seite 12 5.3. Starting The system can be started when the skimmer is correctly installed. After switching the pump on, air is automatically drawn into the skimmer. To minimize the noise level, connect the air inlet tube with the blue connecting piece of the sound absorber supplied. Fix the sound absorber with the holding plate on the aquarium or filter system above the water level.
