Verwendungsbereich Der Universal IP-Modulator DVB-C/T/IPTV von AXING ist ausschließlich für die Umsetzung von IP-Streams (HLS, SRT, UDP) in DVB- C, DVB-T und IPTV in bestehende und geeignete DVB- oder IPTV-Netze vorgesehen. Er darf nur in professionellen Verteilanlagen in Hotels, Wohnanlagen, Krankenhäusern oder ähnlichen Einrichtungen eingesetzt werden.   • Seite 6 1.7. Anwendungsbeispiele Der Universal IP-Modulator DVB-C/T/IPTV von AXING ist die ideale Lösung für moderne TV-Verteilung und Kopfstellen. Er wandelt zuverlässig HLS-, SRT- und UDP-Streams in DVB-C oder DVB-T und ermöglicht so die Integration von IPTV in klassische DVB-Netze. Mit der optionalen Softwareerweiterung UIS 1-00H ist ein Parallelbetrieb mit IPTV möglich, was maximale Flexibilität für professionelle Installationen bietet.

Montage und Anschluss  Montage und Anschluss sind nur von autorisierten Elektrofachkräften durchzuführen.  Das Gerät darf nur in Innenräumen betrieben werden.  Vor Montage und Anschluss Netzstecker ziehen!  Das DVB-C/T/T2-Verteilnetz muss gemäß EN 60728-11 aufgebaut und entsprechend geerdet werden. 2.1.
  • Seite 8 Hinweis: Beim UIM 4-01H dient die Netzwerkschnittstelle gleichzeitig auch als IPTV-Eingang und mit Hybrid-Lizenz auch als IPTV- Ausgang. Für eine einfachere Konfiguration empfiehlt es sich daher, den UIM 4-01H und Ihren PC/Laptop an einem Ethernet- Switch anzuschließen, der mit der IPTV-Quelle verbunden ist. Verwenden Sie dazu Cat 5/6 Ethernet-Kabel mit RJ-45-Steckern.
  • Seite 9 Stellen Sie sicher, dass die genutzten Streams nicht durch DRM-Systeme geschützt und an Ihrem Standort nicht durch Geo- Blocking gesperrt sind. Beachten Sie, dass der UIM 4-01H das Protokoll der Streams verändert, jedoch keine Transkodierung durchführt. Das Videoformat der Quelle muss somit vom Endgerät unterstützt werden.

Achten Sie daher darauf, dass Sie mindestens die 1,5-fache Bandbreite der summierten Bitraten Ihrer aktiven Streams dauerhaft verfügbar ist.

IPTV (Softwareerweiterung UIS 1-00H notwendig) Die Einspeisung von UDP-Multicast-Streams in Ihr IPTV-Netzwerk erfordert die Softwareerweiterung UIS 1-00H.   • Seite 25 5. Trouble-Shooting Bitte folgen Sie bei instabilen Streams zuerst diesen Schritten:  Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Quell-Stream nicht durch DRM geschützt ist. Der UIM 4-01H kann keine verschlüsselten HLS/SRT- Inhalte (z. B. Netflix, geschützte Pay-TV-Streams) entschlüsseln. Prüfen Sie, ob ein Geo-Block vorliegt (z. B. SRF-Streams außerhalb der Schweiz). Da das Gerät am Hotel-Internet hängt, muss die IP des Hotels für den Stream autorisiert sein.
