ASSEMBLY

Choosing location:
•
Mount on the ceiling
•
Mount in the centre of the room for optimum detection
ability
•
Minimum distance of 50 cm from walls, lamps and mains
cables
•
The following places are not appropriate for mounting:
- Rooms that typically have high humidity (e.g. kitchen,
bathroom, toilets)
- Near fireplaces or woodburners
- In rooms that have temperatures lower than -10 °C or
higher than +60 °C.
- Near ventilation shafts
- In narrow corners
2. Drill holes with a 6 mm drill bit with a hole spacing of 67
mm for the 2 mounting screws (use the lower edge of the
detector as a drilling template).
3. Insert the wall plugs into the holes.
4. Secure the base using the supplied screws.
5. Learn in the Smoke Detector Air:
5.1 Insert the battery (with the new firmware the Smoke
Detector Air immediately goes into learn mode).
5.1.1 Or press the Air learn button for 5 seconds ->
detector will now be in learn mode.
5.2 Start Loxone Config and connect to the Miniserver.
Select the Air Base in the Periphery window and then
enable the Air monitor. Start search.
5.3 Select the Smoke Detector Air in the search.
5.4 Enter a name.
5.5 Click create device.
5.6 Save the program in the Miniserver.
6. Put the detector on the base and lock by rotating
clockwise.

Carry out a functionality test.
