Installation Instructions - Lever & Gen II Lever
Wire Connectors
Models 52, 53, 55, L2, L3 & L5
• Do not exceed the rating of these connectors
• Turn OFF power before removing or installing connectors
• Wiring must comply with all applicable electrical regulations
• COPPER TO COPPER ONLY. Do not use on aluminium wire.
• Incorrect use of these connectors can cause electrical fires, personal injury or death
• Use only one conductor per port
• Strip wires back 9 – 10mm (52, 53 & 55) / 11-12mm (L2, L3 & L5)
• For solid and rigid stranded wire, grip wire firmly and insert conductor into open port
(lever does not need to be open)
• For flexible stranded wire (>7 strands) lift lever and insert conductor into open port. Close lever
• Verify conductors are fully inserted to the back of the connector.
• To remove a wire, lift lever and pull out wire

Stromschlag sowie ernsthaften Verletzungen, auch mit Todesfolge, führen • Verwenden Sie nur einen Leiter pro Öffnung. • Isolieren Sie den Draht auf 9-10 mm (52, 53 & 55)/11-12 (L2, L3 & L5) ab. • Massivleiter und starre mehradrige Drähte werden fest in die Klemmenöffnung geschoben. - Seite 3 • N’utilisez qu’un seul conducteur par port • Dénudez le câble sur 9-10 mm (52. 53 & 55)/11-12 mm (L2, L3 & L5) • Pour les fils rigides ou torsadés, prenez le fil fermement et insérez le conducteur dans un port libre (le levier ne doit pas forcément être ouvert)
- Seite 4 • Utilice únicamente un conductor por puerto • Pele los cables 9-10 mm (52, 53 & 55)/11-12 (L2, L3 & L5) • Si utiliza cables estándar sólidos y rígidos, agarre firmemente el cable e inserte el conductor en el puerto abierto (no es necesario abrir la palanca [lever]).
