External Battery Case
Instructions
The external Battery case can be used with the Mamiya RZ67
and 645 series. Its purpose is to maintain battery perform-
ance when the camera is used in cold conditions.
Precautions
The Extemal Battery Case is designed for use with either 6V
silver-oxide battery (4SR44) or alkaline-manganese
(4LR44). (Same as those used for RZ67 and 645 camera).
It is advisable to use a fresh battery.
After inserting a battery into the case, conserve the temperature
with your body during use, and take care also to protect the
camera from low temperature.
How to Use
I. Remove the battery from the camera.
2. Insert the battery into the External Battery Case.
Insert the battery correctly matching the battery's (+) terminal
with the (+) mark of the case as shown in diagram.
3. Insert the dummy battery into the battery chamber of
the camera.
Insert the dummy battery correctly matching the (+) terminal of
the dummy battery with the (+) mark of the battery chamber as
shown in the diagram.
4. When closing the battery chamber cover, pass the cord
through the outlet of the chamber cover.
Caution
• Taking the dummy battery from the battery chamber by
pulling the cord may cause disconnection or poor contact.
• In case your camera does not come with an outlet for the
cord in the battery chamber cover, contact your service center
where your camera will be provided with the outlet.

battery
