Assembly and pre-usage

Slide the two feet (7) into p ace on the base of the fan, ensuring there is a
pos•tive click once they areful y in place.
Controls
Fan speed control switch (2)
The fan speed control switch has four settings, 0 = off, 1 = ow speed, 2=
medium speed, and 3 = highest speed. This switch can be turned either
c ockwise or counter-clockwise to select the desired speed or to turn it off.

Turning the timer control switch as far as It wil go counter-c ockwse wil
switch the fan to a permanently
on setting (position marked ON).
Turning the timer control switch one notch clockwise (position marked 0)
will switch the fan to a permanently off setting.
Turning the timer control switch further clockwise, past the position
marked 0 to the area marked 20 120, sets the fans bui t in mechanica
timer. Turn the switch all the way clockwise until it stops to wind the
mechanical timer, then turn the switch back to the desired time setting.
The fan will now
run
for the set amount
reached, it will turn off. Please note al time settings are approximate.
f either the fan speed control switch or the timer control switch are in the
off positions the fan wi not operate.

The ouvre control switch has two positions O/off and l/on. When set In
the on position the front circular ouvre panel wi I rotate, and because of
the ang es of the ouvres this will cause the air-flow from the fan to be
redirected in a similar way to an oscil ating fan. Turning the ouvre contro
off and on again will reverse the rotation of the ouvres.
When the ouvre control switch is in the off position there
will
be no rotation.
Please note that if the fan is supplied with mains power and the ouvre
control switch is in the on position, the ouvre panel will rotate regardless
of whether or not the fan is in ful operation.
Cleaning and Maintenance
For best operation the fan must be kept clean and dust free.
Always disconnect the mains supp y before doing any c eaning or
maintenance
work.
To clean the front ouvre panel, first remove the ouvre retaining cap (4) by
unscrew•ng it counter c ockwise. Once this is removed the Louvre pane
should simply lift away from its mountings.

removed there is accessto clean the other fan components. Pleaseensure
that al parts are complete y dry before resuming operation.
