compression arm sleeve.
Target group:
Patients with lymphoedema, primary or secondary oedema, and patients with the above
indications. The compression arm sleeve is intended for use on healthy, intact skin.
This compression arm sleeve is suitable for all age groups and both sexes. There are no
restrictions for use during pregnancy.
Side effects:
Side effects may occur, especially if the arm sleeve does not fit properly or if it is worn
when at rest. There may be bruising, impaired blood flow due to pressure on blood vessels,
or impaired sensitivity due to excessive nerve compression. Sensitive individuals may
experience skin irritation (redness, itching, or blistering) in places where the compression
arm sleeve comes into contact with the skin.
Fitting your compression arm sleeve:
The proper fit is necessary to achieve the desired effect. Use the size chart to determine
the correct size by measuring limb circumference at the points indicated.
Note:
Any arm oedema should be examined by your doctor. If this is the first time you experience
oedema, consult your doctor before using the product. Do not use the product if you have
not determined the cause of the oedema. Always consult your doctor before using this
product in combination with other medical aids (such as bandages or orthoses).
