4.12 Using the pilot tone
The pilot tone is an inaudible frequency that is transmitted by the microphone independently of the wanted
signal and evaluated by the receiver. The pilot tone supports the squelch function of the receiver so that
interference from radio signals of other devices is avoided. In addition, the battery status and the mute
function are transmitted to the receiver.

Select the desired receiving channel with the channel button RX1 or RX2.

Press the control knob to enter the menu.
Turn the control knob and navigate to menu item
Select the menu item. The current setting can now be changed.
Select the ON setting with the control knob.
Press the control knob to confirm.
Press this button to return to the standard display.
4.13 Adjusting a user color
For a better differentiation of the radio transmission paths, especially in multi-channel operation, define a
user color. The color appears in the displays of the devices. The handheld microphone also has a status
indicator on the bottom.
