PM40 Operating Instructions Pressure Switch with digital display
Display
Description
Switching point High 2 Switching point Low 2
(Only available if Fnc 2: SHSL Window mode is activated) (Indicator LED S2)
SH 2
Allows to set a switching range instead of a switching and reset point. The switching state
changes according to the setting of OU 2.
SL 2
SH 2 = Sets the upper limit of the switching range 2.
SL 2 = Sets the lower limit of the switching range 2.
Switching delay 1
dEL 1
Setting of the switching delay SP1 / rP1 in seconds.
Switching delay 2
dEL 2
Setting of the switching delay SP2 / rP2 in seconds.
Output function 1
Sets the output function of the first switching point.
OU 1
Hno = normally open : LED S1 is inactive until the switching state changes.
Hnc = normally closed : LED S1 is active until the switching state changes.
Output function 2
Sets the output function of the second switching point.
OU 2
Hno = normally open : LED S2 is inactive until the switching state changes.
Hnc = normally closed : LED S2 is active until the switching state changes.
Function 1
Defines the function of SP 1 (switch point 1) and rP 1 (reset point 1).
Fnc 1
SPrP = Enables the menu options SP 1 and rP 1. (Switching point mode)
SHSL = Enables the menu options SH 1 and SL 1. (Window mode)
OFF = No switching function (No menu options).
Function 2
Defines the function of SP 2 (switch point 2) and rP 2 (reset point 2).
Fnc 2
SPrP = Enables the menu options SP 2 and rP 2. (Switching point mode)
SHSL = Enables the menu options SH 2 and SL 2. (Window mode)
OFF = No switching function (No menu options).
Analog Low
Display value for the initial value of the current output (4mA). It allows to set the begin-
AnLo
ning of the measuring range at which 4 mA is output. If the value "AnLo" is set higher than
for "AnHI", an inverted characteristic curve is created with the upper and lower limits re-
versed. (20...4 mA) To maintain the specified accuracy, the turndown must not exceed 1/5.
Analog High
Display value for the end value of the current output (20mA). It allows to set the end of
AnHI
the measuring range at which 20 mA is output. If the value "AnHI" is set lower than "AnLo",
an inverted characteristic curve is created with the upper and lower limits reversed.
(20...4 mA) To maintain the specified accuracy, the turndown must not exceed 1/5.
Offset
OFFS
Shifts the zero point to account for an already present pressure
The value is set in the current unit and will affect the display value and analog output
Program version
Pr x.x
Shows the current program version. e.g. Pr 1.0
