Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before starting and ensure you are familiar with the
operation of your new MOTION SENSOR NIGHT LIGHT & TORCH.
Operating Instructions
On first use it is necessary to fully charge the unit for 24 hours. Please ensure the torch/night light are switched off
during the initial charge.
1. Plug the CHARGING DOCK into a mains outlet with easy access.
2. Gently slide the main unit into the CHARGING DOCK.
3. The main unit will charge wirelessly when mounted in the dock and automatically stop charging when the
battery is full.
Use when Docked
To switch the NIGHT LIGHT between automatic and constant illumination, press the SWITCH briefly while the main unit
is in the CHARGING DOCK.
In automatic mode, the NIGHT LIGHT will automatically illuminate when the MOVEMENT SENSOR detects movement
within a 4 metre range. In order to conserve energy, the NIGHT LIGHT will only illuminate in a dark environment and
will switch off after 20 seconds.
When set to constant illumination the NIGHT LIGHT will grow brighter when movement is detected and return to a
lower level of illumination after 20 seconds in order to conserve energy.
In the event that the CHARGING DOCK loses power, the EMERGENCY LIGHT will automatically illuminate. The
emergency light can remain illuminated for 7 hours on the charging dock during a power outage. This is useful to locate
the unit during a power outage.
Handheld Use
Lift the main unit from the CHARGING DOCK to automatically active the TORCH. Take care not to look directly into the
light source to avoid damage to the eye.
Repeatedly press the SWITCH to cycle between TORCH, NIGHT LIGHT, flashing TORCH and off.
Charging
The main unit wil charge wirelessly when mounted in the dock and automatically stop charging when the battery is full.
Once fully charged, the TORCH can last up to 3 hours.
