Many thanks for deciding to buy our carbon monoxide detector.
This carbon monoxide detector only detects carbon monoxide arising from burning. Other gases are
not recognised and reported!
In can only be used in dry, protected inside areas.
Please read through installation and operation instructions carefully and keep these in a safe
place for future reference.
We do not accept liability for damage to persons or property caused by non observation of the
instructions, improper handling or for unauthorized changes made to the product.

Safety and warning notes:
Take the carbon monoxide detector carefully out of the packaging.
Make sure, before using the carbon monoxide detector that this has not been damaged during
transportation.
Keep packaging materials well away from children and pets.
Never make your own repairs to faulty parts.
The carbon monoxide detector is only ready for use with a battery.
The carbon monoxide detector is designed to warn persons of possible carbon monoxide
poisoning. Persons with special difficulties or specific sensitivities must get in touch with a
doctor if the have concerns.
The following substances can damage the sensor and can cause faults:
Methane, propane, isobutene, isopropanol, ethylene, benzene, methybenzene, ethyl, acetate,
hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, products with an alcohol base, paints, thinning agents,
solvents, adhesives, hairspray, after shaves, perfume and some cleaning agents.
The entire product must neither be changed nor converted. Changes made to the product lead
to invalidation of the guarantee (warranty).
Care and servicing:
Check the alarm function at least once a week. Use the test button to do this.
Remove the carbon monoxide detector from the holder at least once a month – or ofter,
according to requirements and clean dust and dirt from the housing and openings. Use a dry,
or slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
Never use chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
Do not spray any air freshener, hair spray or other sprays near the carbon monoxide detector.
Do not paint over the carbon monoxide detector. Paint blocks the openings and prevents the
sensor from detecting carbon monoxide.
Fasten the carbon monoxide detector back into the detector immediately after cleaning and
checking.
