BATTERY INSTALLATION
Slide and open the battery compartment on the rear of tho unit and insert two (2) "AAA'
batteries following the polarity diagram.
Note:Remove theclearfilmlabelovertheVCDpanelso LCDpanel i s visible.
ThebatterythatcomeswiththisclockWhed youpurchase it is forfactorytestpurposes,
so the battery will not provide normal service life.
TO SET CALENDAR
Slide and CALENDAR, Press MONTH, DATE or YEAR buttonsto set your desired calendar.
Remark: Incorrect calendar will be be automatically
i.e. February 30 will be adjusted to February 1, April 31 will be adjusted to April 1.
TO SET TIME
Slide to TIME SET (5), press HR (3) or MIN (4) button to set your desired time.
TO SET ALARM
• Slideto ALM SET(5)position,the "AL"signwill appear on the display. PressHR (3)or
MIN (4) button to set your desired alarm time.
• Slide to ALARM ON (6) position, the «•» sign will appear on the time display. The alarm
function is activated.
• Slide to SNOOZE (6) position to activate the Snooze Alarm.
"LOCK" FUNCTION
• After you set time and alarm time, slide to the LOCK (5) position to protect the set time
o
and alarm time against unnecessary changes caused by touch of buttons.
USING THE SNOOZE
Slide to SNOOZE (6) position, the sign Zz will appear on the display.The SNOOZE function
is activated.Once the alarm starts to ring, you can activate the snooze by pressing the ALM
STOP/LIGTH(2) button.The alarm will stop for 5 minutesand it will start to ring again.
You can repeat the same thing twice.

TOcompletely stop the alarm, silde the ALARM SWITCH (6) to the OFF position. Alarm

12HR/ 24HR INTERNATIONALTIME DISPLAY

• Simply press the 12HR/24HR (7) button to choose your desired format.

• In 12HR format, a "PM" sign will appear indicating PM hours.
USING THE E.L. BACKLIGHT
You may check the time anytime in the dark by simply pressing the ALM STOP/LIGHT
button (2) once. The display will light up with a soft glow that lasts for a while. You can
read the time easily and clearly.

INSTALACIÖN DE LA PILA
Deslice y abra el compartimento de la pila situ en la parte trasera de la unidad e inserte
dos (2) pilas tipo "AAR segün las instruccionesdel diagramade polaridad.
Nota: Arranque la etiqueta de fina pelicula que hay sobre el panel LCD de modo que éste
quede visible.

AJUSTE DEL CALENDRIC)
Deslice aCALENDARIO. Pulselosbotones de MES, F ECHA o ANOparaajustarsucalenda
deseado.
Observaciones: Un calendario incorrecto se ajustarå automåticamente., por ejemplo 30 de
febrero se ajustarå a I de marzo,31 de abril se ajustaråa 1 de mayo.
AJUSTE HORARIO
Deslicea AJUSTEHORARIO(5),pulseel botéh HR(3)o MIN(4)para ajustar la horadeseada
AJUSTE DE LA ALARMA
• Deslice a la posiciön de AJUSTE DE I-AAR A (5), aparccerå el signo "AL" en la pantalla.
Pulse el botön HR (3) o MIN (4) para ajusta a hora deseada de la alarma.
• Deslice a la posiciön ALARMA ( el simbolo «•» aparecerå en la pantalla de
hora. La funciön de alarma queda activada.
• Deslice a la posiciön ZUMBADOR (6) para activar la alarma con zumbador.
FUNCIÖN DE "CIERRE"
• Una voz realizado el ajuste horario y la hora de la alarma, deslice a la posiciön CIERRE (5)
para proteger el ajuste horario y de la alarmacontra cambios innecesarioscausadospor la
pulsaciön de los botones.
UTILIZACIÖN DE LA ALARMA SONORA
Deslicea la posiciönZUMBADOR(6),en pantallaapareceråel simboloZz, La funci6n
ZUMBADORha quedado activada Unavez empiecea sonar la alarma, usted puede
desactivar el zumbador pulsando el boton PARO ALARMAJLIJZ (2). La alarma dejarå de sona
durante 5 minutos y volverå a sonar de nuevo transcurrido este periodo.
Puede repetir este procedimiento dos veces.
Para parar la alarmacompletamente,deslice el INTERRUPTOR DEALARMA(6) a la posiciör
DESACTIVADA (OFF).DURACIÖN de la alarma:1minuto.
VISUALIZACIÖN INTERNACIONAL DE LA HORA 12 HR/24 HR
• Pulse el botÖn 12 HR/ 24HR (7) para elegit el formato deseado.
• En el formato de 12 HR, aparecerå el simbolo "PM" indicando las horas PM.
UTILIZACIÖN DE LA LUZ DE FONDO
Usted puede comprobar la hora en cualquier momento en la oscuridad pulsando sencillamente
el boton PARO ALARMA/LIJZ (2) una vez. La pantalla se iluminarå con un resplandor suave
que dura unos instantes: Puede leer la hora claramente y con facilidad.
NOTA:
El uso frecuente de esta funciön incide en la vida ütil de la pila.
CUIDADO DE SU RELOJ
• Evite exponer su reloj a temperaturas extrem s, agua o golpes fuertes.
• Evite el contacto con cualquiertipo de materialscorrosivoscomo perfume,alcohol o agente
limpiadores.
