For pyrotechnic items there are applicable laws as well as general and special safety rules! The user must inform himself about this, and fulfil
all necessary measures and rules! The general valid safety rules are on the reverse of this instruction manual, the special regulations and instruc-
tions for using the MINI FLASH are as follows:
Use the items only according to the operating instruction for the in-
tended purposes. Do not fire them in dangerous proximity of persons or
easily inflammable objects; keep at least the given safety distances.
Consider possible unexpected behavior of the audience and outdoors
wind directions / gusts of wind.
USAGE:
Use only theatrical flashes which were stored properly (dry and cool).
In doubt, e.g. after a longer storage time (> 2 years), it should be
checked by test burning some at a safe place whether function and
effect are still perfect or still corresponds with the following data.
Block off firing area during preparations and use for unauthorized,
pronounce a smoking ban. Hold ready suitable fire-extinguishing
agents (water extinguisher, fire-extinguisher spray)!
ATTENTION: After ignition the item reacts immediately
with a soft report, a bright flash of approx. 0,5 sec., ap-
prox. 1 m Ø and 0.5 m effect height and a small mush-
room-shaped smoke cloud.
Safety distance to persons* and highly inflammables:
Minimum safety distance in direction of effect: 2 m
Minimum radial safety distance: 2 m
If an effective hearing protection according to DIN

Applies only to persons who are informed about the effects and its
dimensions. Depending on the situation, larger safety distances can
also be required laterall/to the sides!
Caution: Costumes, wigs, masks and props are usually not
flameproof, therefore treat them flameproof or apply a larger
safety distance!
The safety clearance to persons can be reduced if the item is
placed behind a massive, non-splintering object (e.g. larger
piece of furniture, special protective devices, wood-, stone- or
metal walls, etc.), so that the pyrotechnic effect in the direction
of the persons is safely kept away and the persons possibly
wear a hearing protection.
Use items only in rooms with a ventilation possibility.
Fasten items so with modelling clay, adhesive tape or a
mechanical device so that the discharge side (brown
foil cover) freely points in the space.
The use of the article in a particular way requires the prior test-
ing and, if necessary, the setting of extended safety distances.

Connect only to currentless firing cables!
Firing cables and devices must be certainly set powerless respectively
the power source must be disconnected (remove ignition keys, batter-
ies or ignition wires).
To test the ignition circuit, only measuring instruments with test cur-
rent not exceeding 25 mA (see instructions for use of the measuring
instrument) are permitted.
Fire pyrotechnic effects only if the necessary safety precautions are
kept and the responsible person has direct view to the firing place.
Caution: Participants and viewers can act unpredictable or contrary to
the briefing! The responsible pyrotechnician has to take this into con-
sideration when igniting and, if necessary, skip the ignition.
Search the firing place after firing for failures or burn-
ing or smoldering remains, extinguish and remove
them. Allow to cool down burnt or incorrect functioned
items at a safe place.
In Germany applies: Hand-over to persons under the
age of 18 years prohibited!
The articles shall only be used for theatrical purposes
within stage, film, and television productions, as well as
within music or show productions. Distribution and dis-
position of the articles only within unopened original
packaging.
STORAGE
Store items only in the original packing at a dry, cool
place, protected from sparks and fire and inaccessible
for the unauthorized.
DISPOSAL:
Disposal according to national provisions or return to
manufacturer.
FOR PERSONS WITH SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:
According to chapter 4.3 EN 16256-2, persons with specialist
knowledge may use articles marked as „T1" or „T1 outdoor use
only" differently to the user instructions, as long as they consid-
