1. Insert lower handle and align screw holes in blower housing as shown.
Place ground lead under indicated screw head. Install four screws and
tighten securely.
2. If terminal tab was not factory installed, remove the existing crankcase
cover screw using a TX-25 Torx bit, and install the male terminal tab
as shown. Tighten screw securely.
3. Attach ground lead to terminal tab.

MUST MUST remain attached to blower housing when the bag is attached. DO
4. Stand inner tube upright on floor as illustrated. Align angled end of outer
tube and decal on inner tube as shown. Push outer tube down into inner
tube to lock together.
Vacuum tubes lock together securely. If tubes must be separated
for realignment, storage, etc., use the following procedure:
a) Remove tubes from inlet housing.
b) Apply a small amount of a soapy household cleaner to the tube
connection for lubrication.
c) Hold ends of tubes and turn to unlock and separate.
Remove cleaner completely from tube ends before reassembly.
5. Loosen (do not remove) the inlet cover locking screw enough to allow
cover to unlatch and swing open.
6. Hold inlet cover open. Align locking tabs on inner tube with slots in inlet
housing. Push vacuum tubes into inlet housing and turn to lock.
