5. INFLATION OF THE SWIMMING AID
5.1 INFLATING WITH MANUAL INFLATION DEVICE.
The inflation process is triggered by pulling hard on the hand release leash.
5.2 BREATHING OF MOUTH (TIGHTNESS TESTING) / BY-BUBBLE:
Open the bag by hand and blow the float over the mouth valve with breathing air. To do this, remove the dust cover from
the mouth valve. When re-blowing via the mouth valve, avoid inhaling CO2 gas from the float (non-toxic, but a coughing
or dizzy sensation is possible).
6. HANDLING AFTER USE / REPRODUCTION
6.1 CLEANING THE SWIMMING AID.
Wet or dampened buoyancy aid, let it dry while hanging on a hanger. Do not put on the heater! Remove oil and grease
spills immediately. Clean with commercially available mild detergent or weak soapy water. Be sure to rinse with clear
water. Observe the care symbols on the buoyancy aid! Do not use alcohol or solvent for cleaning
Cleaning supplies!
6.2 BLEEDING THE SWIMMING BODY OVER THE MOUTH VALVE
To vent, remove the dust cap of the mouth valve. Press the valve down with the nose on the dust cap (never use sharp
objects). By simultaneously smoothening or
Express completely drain the float. After venting, replace the dust cover (see Figure 3). In the bag a yellow cap is
attached. This can be done on the mouth valve
be placed to have both hands free to vent the float. After bleeding, put the black dust cap back on the mouth valve.
WARNING: This cap must be removed after venting the float. Otherwise the float will leak.
7. REVISING THE INFLATOR
After each use, in which the buoyancy aid has been inflated, the inflator must be made clear again. You will need an
original SKINFOX replacement pack (see Figure 4).
- Unscrew the empty cartridge from the inflator and
to dispose.
- Fold the manual release lever into the housing and secure with a new pin.
- Hand-tighten a new full CO2 replacement cartridge.
- After reasserting the indicator must show green.
8. PACKING THE SWIMMING AID
- Completely bleed the floating body of the buoyancy aid (see chapter 6).
- Close the mouth valve with the dust cap.
- Fold the swimming aid according to the marking on the float
and stow it in your pocket.
- Insert the belt grip into the Velcro fastener and carefully fasten the Velcro fastener
shut down.
- The straps must not be twisted or knotted.
9. STORAGE
Before storing, the buoyancy aid must be completely dry. If necessary, open the bag to allow the buoyancy aid to dry
from the inside. Protect your swimming aid from prolonged exposure to the sun.
