FanController
Climate Control
The SMSCOM FanController allows you to control the temperature and air circulation in your room. This
FanController will always run the fans on a minimum speed, so excessive humidity is thus neutralized. In
combination with the thermostat, the FanController switches the fan to a higher speed to control the
temperature.
How it works
The FANCONTROLLER controls a fan, which controls the temperature in a room and provides a constant
minimum airflow. If the temperature exceeds the maximum value (which is set on the thermostat), the
FANCONTROLLER will turn on the fan at 100% until the temperature drops below the set maximum. So you
always have the temperature and humidity under control, without any worries. The fan controller can also be
used without a thermostat, used as a manual dimmer.

Usage
1. Connect the thermostat to the FanController with the jack cable.
2. Connect the fan's power cable to the FanController.
3. Place the FanController in a grounded power outlet.
4. Turn the knob of the FanController and the thermostat knob to maximum.
5. Turn the knob from the FanController now slowly clockwise and adjust the fan to the desired minimum
speed.
6. Now set the thermostat to the desired maximum temperature.
When the temperature in your room exceeds the thermostat setting, the fan speed will increase to the
maximum value. It will be switched back again to the minimum value if the desired temperature is reached.
Important Notice
- The maximum current load is 1500Watt. Overload will result in permanent damage.
- Do not mount the Thermostat in the direct airflow of the fan. This is needed to ensure reliable operation.
- We do not guarantee the damages or risks caused by inadequate opera on or beyond product specifications.
- Only use the FanController with the SMSCOM Thermostat.
