Installation on new Grr-rippers (with Dovetail T-Bolt)
1. Remove one sticker from the backing
sheet and align the notch at the 10mm
mark (dotted red line) with the seam
between the right side of the Grr-ripper
body and the leg. (Fig. 1)
2. Apply the sticker pressing it down
across the end of the Grr-ripper body
and legs as shown.
3. Remove the two round green knobs and

washers from the ends of the center leg.
4. Slide one transparent red cursor over
each end of the center leg as shown
and reattach the washers and green
knobs. Be sure the cursor is fully seated
on the center leg. (Fig. 2)

Previous model Grr-rippers (with thumb screw & nut)
1. Remove either of the two side legs.
Remove the knobs from the center leg
and slide the leg out of the main body.
2. Insert a Dovetail T-Bolt (included with
GRSR-P50K2) through each end of the
center leg as shown (Fig. 3a). Reinsert
the center leg to the main body and
reattach the side leg.
3. Remove one sticker from the backing
sheet and align the notch at the 10mm
mark (Dotted Red Line) with the seam

between the right side of the Grr-ripper
body and the leg. (Fig. 1)

4. Apply the sticker pressing it down
across the end of the Grr-ripper body
and legs as shown (Fig. 1).
5. Seat a transparent red cursors on each
end of the center leg. Add a washer
over each cursor and screw the green
knobs onto the dovetail bolts on each
end (Fig. 2).

Using the SafeRip Kit
Protect Your Grr-ripper by the Numbers
1. Set the table saw rip fence to the
position required. Note the measurement
on the rip fence scale.
2. Adjust the center leg to the left or right
as needed until the SafeRip Cursor is
NOT covering the same measurement
on the scale at the back of your
Grr-ripper.
3. For example, if the rip is for 1" on the saw
fence, the 1" mark should be outside the
limits of the transparent cursor. This will
ensure that the center leg is not in the
path of the blade (Fig. 4).
