4. THE GMT (24 HOURS) HAND

The GMT (24 hours) hand of your CHRIS BENZ DEEP 2000M Automatic GMT model is a characterisitc of
this watch. It is a secound hour hand with a triangular front. He doesn´t rotate every 12 hours, but only
every 24 hours once fully over the dial. The time is not shown by the second hour hand on the normal
dial but on the bezel, which is equipped with a 24 hour scale.

5. THE HELIUM ESCAPE VALVE

The helium valve allows existing helium atoms to exit. Therefore it prevents the buildup of internal

position : pressure, which can lead to a losening of the glass of the watch. If the pressure in the watch
exceeds 5bar, the pressure compensation will be done automatically. The helium valve is used for
9.00 O´CLOCK
movements in a pressure chamber or in other areas with pressure overload (tunnel construction).

The helium valve of the CHRIS BENZ DEEP 2000M Automatic GMT is placed on the left side
of the watchcase and other additional steps are not necessary to ensure the functionality.
