A If you are using a dashcam with automatic parking mode and want the camera to auto-
matically switch between driving mode and parking mode:
I. For correct grounding attach the BLACK cable to the vehicle's metal structure (preferably the
ground bolt on the vehicle body).
II. Connect the RED cable to a fuse that is constantly powered (usually a green 30 A fuse).
III. Connect the YELLOW cable to a fuse that is powered only when the ignition is switched on
(usually a blue 15 A fuse).
IV. Connect the TrueCam Hardwire Kit to your dashcam with the power cord.
If you are using a dashcam with automatic parking mode and want the camera to ope-

rate in driving mode even after the ignition is switched off:
I. For correct grounding attach the BLACK cable to the vehicle's metal structure (preferably the
ground bolt on the vehicle body).
II. Connect the RED and YELLOW cables to fuses that are constantly powered (usually a green
30 A fuse).
III. Connect the TrueCam Hardwire Kit to your dashcam with the power cord.
C If you are using a dashcam with automatic parking mode and want the camera to ope-
rate in driving mode and turn off when the ignition is turned off:
I. For correct grounding attach the BLACK cable to the vehicle's metal structure, (preferably the
ground bolt on the vehicle body).
II. Connect the RED and YELLOW cables to fuses that they are powered only when the ignition is
switched on (usually a blue 15A fuse).
III. Connect the TrueCam Hardwire Kit to your dashcam with the power cord.
IV. Turn off automatic parking mode in the dashcam settings.
If you are using a dashcam without automatic parking mode and want to use the True-

Cam Hardwire Kit as a standard hardwire kit:
I. Attach the BLACK cable to the vehicle's metal structure.
II. You do not need to connect the YELLOW (ACC) cable or you can combine it with the RED cable.
III. Connect the TrueCam Hardwire Kit to your dashcam with the power cord.
