Firmware Update Procedure
NOTES
• Stable Power Source: Ensure ControlGo is connected to a stable power source to prevent interrup-
tions during the firmware update that could cause unit corruption.
FLASH DRIVE PREPARATION:
• Format a USB flash drive to FAT32.
• Download the latest firmware files from the Prolights website www.controlgo.it
• Extract and copy these files to the root directory of the USB flash drive.
RUNNING THE UPDATE:
Both steps must be performed.
This procedure will update the DISP2 board. Please check in SETTINGS - INFO menù
STEP 1 - SOFTWARE UPDATE
1. Power cycle the ControlGo and ensure it is on the home screen with ControlGo and Update icons.
2. Insert the USB with updating files in the ControlGo
3. Click the Update icon
4. Click on update button and select the sda1 folder
5. Open the sda1 folder
6. Select the file named updateControlGo_V1.1.00.0.sh and click on open
7. ControlGo will automatically update and reboot
This procedure will update the DISP1 board. Please check in SETTINGS - INFO menù
STEP 2 - HARDWARE UPDATE
8. Power cycle the ControlGo and ensure it is on the home screen with ControlGo and Update icons.
9. Ensure the USB is correclty Inserted in the ControlGo
10. Click the ContolGo icon
11. Enter in SETTINGS menù
12. Click on Firmware Update
13. Click on sda1 folder
14. Select the file named CONTROLGO-V1.1.00.0.prl
15. Click on Self Upgrade
16. Wait the update is completed (during the update all buttons of the unit will blink)
17. When the update process is completed ending!!! will appear on the screen
18. To complete the process it's needed to power cycle the unit
