HOW SOLAR LIGHT WORKS:
During the day,the solar panel converts solar power into energy and stores in the rechargeable battery. At night, the light turns on
automatically and uses stored energy. The duration of illumination will depend on the geographical location, weather conditions
and seasonal light availability.
CHOOSING AN IDEAL LOCATION:
Choose an outdoor location where the solar panel can receive at least 8 hours full and direct sunshine each day. Shady locations
will reduce the battery charge and shorten the illumination time at night. Avoid placing solar lights near bright light sources, such
as street lights. The bright light sources may cause the solar light to turn off automatically Solar lights are ideal for night time
lighting in the garden. lawn.etc. You can also place the solar lights outdoors during the day and then place them indoors for
lighting
ATTENTION FOR FIRST TIME USE:
Put the OFF/ON switch to"ON" position, the light sensor will control the light automatically. When the environment turns dark,the
solar light will turn on and use the energy stored in the battery.If you switch to "OFF" position. the solar light will turn off to save
energy. The solar light needs to charge in full sunlight for 8-12 hours. This allows the rechargeable battery to reach maximum
capacity If the light does not turn on automatically at night after 8-12 hours of charging, please check the following
1. Make sure the power switch is at the "ON " position.
2. Check the battery and make sure the battery contacts the terminal securely
3. Make sure the solar light is located in a sunny location and the solar panel can receive direct sunlight
PRECAUTIONS:
1. Please note, the solar light is designed to work when the environment gets dark. The selected location should not be near a
light source such as a porch light or street light, as these might keep the solar lights from automatically turning on.
2. Although the battery has been charged by the manufacturer, the electric charged may have dropped by the time consumer
receives the product.Please let the solar light charge for a full day for the maximum performance.
3. Surface of the solar panel must be kept clean. Dusty surfaces will reduce charging efÏciency.
4. The components of this product are not substitutable. If any part is damaged, the whole product must be disposed. Do not
disassemble in case of malfunction.
REPLACE BATTERIES:
If the solar light stops working after it has been used for a long time, the battery may need to be replaced. You may open the
battery cover and replace it with a new rechargeable battery.
Battery specification: lpc x AA, 300mAh, 1.2V Ni-Mh Rechargeable battery.
DISPOSAL & RECYCLING OF BATTERIES
To protect the environment, batteries must not be thrown in the domestic garbage, nor disposed of in a fire as they contain
dangerous materials. Dispose of the batteries by taking them to your local waste collection service to be recycled. Replacement
batteries can be purchased at most electrical retailers.
