Verbinden Sie das Modemdirekt durch ein Ethernetkabel mit

sollte dabei nicht ans Netzwerk angesc hlossen sein.
4) Optimie rungen
Nach der Installation e ines Ethernet -Modems müssen Sie sich
versichern, dass die Verbindung zwischen Modemund Si rius
in einem Anprechverzug stattfindet, das kompatibel mit der
Anwendung ist. Der einfachste Wegvorzugehen ist, den
Speicher eines Satellitenzu leeren und dann zu überprüfen, ob
dieLeerungszeit zutri t . Wenn dieser Leerungsvorga ng länger
als 5 Minuten dauert (1 Minute steht für einen Tag), dann sind
einige neue Einstellungen zwing end erforderlich.
4.1) Überprüfungder DIGI Connect ME Firmware
Auf dem Webinterface
"Administration / Update Firmware" lässt Sie die

Firmware, die in den Digi Connect ME Modulen eingebaut
ist, aktualisieren. Die Aktualisierung läuft wie folgt ab:

Post ist das Programm, mir dem Sie die Firmware herunterladen.
Wenn dieses nicht aktualisiert ist, dann muss es vorher
heruntergeladen werden.
Nach jedem Download eines Digi One Moduls, wird ein Neustart
empfohlen.
4.2)Überprüfung desgenutzten REAL PORT Drivers
Die aktuellen Versionen der Firmware und der Driver sind auf der
CD, unter dem Verzeichnis „Drivers", oder auf der Website von DIGI
– Sektion Drivers – zu finden
Diese Version wurde getestet, dass sie kompatibel mit LAN- und
WAN-Verbindungen ist.

3) Procedure in case of malfunction
Set a new configuration by connecting directly the modem onto the
network port of the PC, using an Ethernet cable.. The PC should not
be connected to the network.
4) Optimiz ations
After installation of an Ethernet modem you must ensure that the
communication between the modem and Sirius takes place within a
delay that is compatible with the application. The simplest way to
proceed is to empty the memory of a satellite and check if the
emptying time is correct. If the emptying procedure takes more than
5 minutes (1 minute for one day measures ) it is imperative to carry
out a parameter setting.

The POST is the program used to download the firmware ; if not
updated it must be downloaded at first.
After each download of a Digi One module, a "Reboot" procedure is
proposed; Accept this procedure.

CD, in the directory "Drivers", or on the website of DIGI-
-support section-drivers.

At the Web interface
