Water will stop draining from the drainpipe once the tank is full. Once the tank
is full, open the drinking faucet to drain the water out of the tank.
!
Note: Do not drink the water at this stage.
•
Repeat these steps to ush the tank one more time.
•
Once the tank is empty, it is ready for regular use.
Regular Inspections: Inspect the tank's air bladder pressure every 6 to 12
months to ensure proper operation. If the air bladder pressure is low, follow
the air bladder pressure adjustment instructions under the maintenance section
below.
Maintenance
Filter Flushing Procedure:
When replacing the RO system lters, close the tank valve before performing
maintenance on the system and keep it closed until the lter ushing is
completed.
Air Bladder Pressure Adjustment:
All the tanks have air bladder pressure adjustments to support the water owing
into and out of the tank. If water pressure is insu cient, adjust the internal
pressure of the tank's air bladder to the recommended range by following these
steps:
•
Unscrew the air valve cap on the tank.
•
Use an air pressure gauge (such as a tire pressure gauge) to test the pressure of
the air bladder in the tank.
•
If air bladder pressure is below 7 psi, recharge the air bladder with a regular air
pump.
•
Screw back the air valve cap tightly.
