• Dieses Instrument misst CO2 im Wein genau, wenn die Temperatur des
Weins zwischen 5 und 10 °C liegt. Daher empfiehlt es sich, den Wein vor
der Verwendung im Kühlschrank zu lagern und den Messzylinder mit
dem abgekühlten Wein auszuspülen.
• Halten Sie den Messzylinder schräg, füllen Sie ihn mit 100 ml Wein und
gießen Sie den Wein langsam an der Seite des Zylinders hinunter.
• Stecken Sie das Röhrchen in den Zylinder und schrauben Sie den Deckel
fest zu.
• Halten Sie den Zylinder an der Kappe und legen Sie den Daumen über
das Ende des Röhrchens.
• Kräftig schütteln.
• Entfernen Sie den Daumen und halten Sie den Zylinder in einer vertikalen oder leicht schrägen Position,
damit der Wein (kein Gas) entweichen kann.
• Verschließen Sie das Loch und schütteln Sie es erneut. Der Vorgang kann mehrmals wiederholt werden,
bis der Wein nicht mehr fließt.
• Schrauben Sie die Kappe ab und entfernen Sie das Röhrchen. Lassen Sie den Schaum absetzen und lesen
Sie das Volumen des verbleibenden Weins auf dem Zylinder ab.
Beispiel: Weinvolumen 80 ml; Temperatur 10°C ; CO2-Gehalt: 1620 mg/l

• This instrument measures CO
to refrigerate the wine and rinse the measuring cylinder with the cooled wine before using.
• Holding the measuring cylinder at an angle, fill it with 100 ml of wine, pouring the wine slowly down the
side of the cylinder.
• Put the tube into the cylinder and screw the cap firmly shut.
• Hold the cylinder by the cap and place the thumb over the end of the tube.
• Shake briskly.
• Remove thumb and hold the cylinder in a vertical or slightly oblique position to allow wine (not gas) to
escape.
• Block the hole and shake again. The operation may be repeated several times until the wine stops flowing.
• Unscrew the cap and remove the tube. Allow the foam to settle, and read the volume of the remaining
wine on the cylinder.
