11. In the event of a major malfunction, switch the appliance off immediately. Do not attempt
to repair it yourself, as unqualified intervention may cause damage. Contact an authorised
service centre and use only identical spare parts.
12. DO NOT TOUCH ANY wires during operation, as high voltage could cause an electric shock.
a. Warning
1. To avoid or reduce the risk of electric shock or fire, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
2. DO NOT OPEN the unit within five minutes of switching it off.
3. The housing, lenses or UV filter should be replaced if visibly damaged.
b. Installation
To attach the device to a structure, use the omega safety bracket supplied and a hook (sold
separately). Make sure that the appliance is securely fastened to prevent vibration and slipping, and
that the structure can support 10 times the weight of the appliance. Always use a suitable safety
cable (sling) capable of supporting 12 times the weight of the appliance.
Here are a few suggestions if you are having problems with your appliance.
• The device does not work at all.
○ Check power cable and fuse.
○ Make sure that your power cable is correctly plugged in.
• The device does not respond to DMX commands or does so incorrectly.
○ Check your DMX cables
○ Check DMX addressing
○ Try another DMX controller
○ Check that your DMX cables do not run close to high-voltage cables, which could
cause interference.
• Does not react to sound
○ Check selected operating mode
○ Check that no DMX cable is connected to the DMX input.
○ Tap directly on the microphone to test its responsiveness.
c. Cleaning
To maintain optimum operation of your light set, please keep it clean. Do not use soluble detergents
to clean the colour filter so as not to damage the LED.
