processors from Balluff, for which
connection to these displays is
permitted.
Tnaddition, the wiring notes in
•the user'sguide
forthe respec-
tive processor must be followed.

Function
and Construction
The BDD-06-1 display is designed
for displaying the position which the
BTL transducer
sent to the BTA processor.
From the processor the data are
sent in parallel format to the display.
Control ihputs can select BCD Or
binary as the data format and deter-
mine the location
point.
The strobe signal controls updating
of the display value.
— Always when data arrives:
strobe input always Low
When strobe signal is received:
strobe input > 100 ns Low.
Wiring
The display is connected via the
data lines to the processor. Control
lines are used to determine
mal point position and the data
format. The signal on the strobe
input controls the updating of the
display
value.
+24 V DC are needed to power the
display.
The corresponding wiring terminals
are found on the rear of the display.

Installation
The display is typically mounted in a
panel cutout of approx. 43 x 91 mm
and secured using the clips supplied.
