waterproof seal It is important to keep these O-ring
seals free from dirt, away from harsh chemicals,and
ightly lubricated with silicone grease. Never use
aerosol spray lubricants as certain forms of aerosol
sprays can cause damageto the plastic parts and void
the warranty Inspect the seals every time the batteries
are changed
NOTE: Some battery types can emit hydrogen gas,
which can create an explosion potential in sealed
devices if it is not vented or removed. The Torrent
is equipped with a platinum catalyst to remove this
gas. Upon severe impact, the catalyst could fracture If
you notice a rattling sound in the light or gray
particles in the battery compartment, do not use the

Unlockthe safety lock by sliding the lockbutton
forward. Rotate the switch to the right to turn the light
on. Rotate the switch to the off position and pul the
switch lock backto lockthe switch to prevent
accidental turn on of the light in transit.

Diving Maintenance
As with any diving equipment, after diving in salt
water this light should be rinsed with fresh water.
Flooding
n the unlikely event your light leaks or is flooded,

immediately remove the batteries. Flush al parts with
fresh water and allow it to dry. Checkfor possible cause
of leakageand correct problem; return light for repair if
necessary. Do not reuse batteries that have been wet.

Trouble Shooting
If theTorrent LEDfails to light:
• Checkthe batteries for proper installation.
• Replace batteries if proper installation is confirmed
• Checkthe inside Ofthe light for water. (the seal may
have been compromised)The light will resume normal
operation once the water is shaken or blown out and the
light is left open until completely dry. If the light has
been contaminated with salt water, flush the unit with
fresh water and dry as described above

Due to International regulations,
lifetime warranty can only be offered to customers in
the USA. Princeton Tec offers a 10-yearwarranty to
our customers outside the USA.
FULL WARRANTY - Princeton Tec warrants
product to be free from defects in workmanship and
materials under normal use for as long asyou own this
product.This warranty covers all of the component
parts of the product except bulbs and batteries. This

your light for repair or replacement. NO warranties wil

3) If the light continues to function improperly,
