proceed as follows:
• Remove fuse cover and fuse.
• Fixnew fuse which should be a BS13625 Amp, A.S.T.A.or BSIapprovedtype.
•
Refit the fuse cover.
Ifthefitted plug isnotsuitable foryour s ocket outlets, it should b ecutoffand anappropriate
fitted in its place.
Ifthemains p lug contains afuse, t hisshould h ave avalue o f5Amp. I faplug without afuseisused,
the fuse at the distribution board should not be greater than 5 Amp.
Note: T hesevered p lug must b edisposed to avoid apossible s hock hazard s hould i t beinserted i nto
a 13 Amp socket elsewhere.
How to connect a plug
Thewiresinthemains lead arecoloured w iththefollowing code: b lue= neutral (N), b rown = live(L).
Asthese colours m ay notcorrespond
proceed as follows:
• Connectthe blue wire to the terminal marked N or colouredblue or black.
• Connectthe brown wire to the terminal marked L or colouredbrown or red.
• Donotconnecteitherwire to the earthterminalinthe plug,markedE(or4)or colouredgreen(or
green and yellow).
