BATTERY OPERATION
To use the radio insert 2 × "LR6" batteries into the compart-
ment (7). Be sure that the batteries are inserted correctly to
avoid damage to the appliance. Remove the batteries when
the radio will not be used for a long period of time, as this will
cause leakage to the batteries and subsequently damage to
your radio.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Turn the "ON-OFF SWITCH" (3) clockwise to switch the
unit ON.
2. Turn the "TUNING KNOB" (6) to select your favourite radio
station.
3. Turn the "VOLUME KNOB" (3) to the desired volume level.
4. For FM reception there is a built-in telescopic antenna.
Unwrap the antenna (8) and extend it fully. You may need
to adjust the position of the antenna to get the best recep-
tion.
5. Turn the volume down completely using "VOLUME KNOB/
ON-OFF SWITCH" (3) to switch the unit OFF.
HEADPHONES
For private listening this radio is equipped with a 3.5 mm
headphones socket (4).

Legen Sie zum Betrieb des Funkgeräts 2 × "LR6"-Batterien in das
Fach (7) ein. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Batterien richtig einge-
legt sind, um eine Beschädigung des Geräts zu vermeiden. Neh-
men Sie die Batterien heraus, wenn das Funkgerät über einen
längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt wird, da dies zu einem Auslaufen
der Batterien und in der Folge zu einer Beschädigung des
Funkgeräts führen kann.
BEDIENUNG DES RADIOS
Drehen Sie den "EIN-AUS-SCHALTER" (3) im Uhrzeigersinn, um
das Gerät einzuschalten.
Drehen Sie den "TUNING KNOB" (6), um Ihren bevorzugten
Radiosender zu wählen.
Drehen Sie den "VOLUME-KNOPF" (3) auf die gewünschte
Lautstärke.
Für den UKW-Empfang gibt es eine eingebaute Teleskopantenne.
Wickeln Sie die Antenne (8) aus und fahren Sie sie vollständig
aus. Möglicherweise müssen Sie die Position der Antenne anpas-
sen, um den besten Empfang zu erhalten.
Drehen Sie die Lautstärke mit dem "VOLUME KNOB/ON-OFF
SWITCH" (3) ganz herunter und schalten Sie das Gerät aus.
KOPFHÖRER
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer 3.5 mm Kopfhörer-Buchse (4) ausge-
stattet.

SOURCE D'ALIMENTATION
Pour utiliser la radio, insérer 2 piles "LR6" dans le compartiment
(9). S'assurer que les piles sont correctement insérées pour
éviter d'endommager l'appareil. Retirer les piles lorsque la radio
ne sera pas utilisée pendant une longue période de temps, car
cela causera des fuites dans les piles et endommagera la radio.
Pour obtenir une performance maximale des batteries, nous
recommandons d'utiliser des batteries "ALKALINE".
ECOUTE DE LA RADIO
Tournez l'interrupteur "ON-OFF SWITCH" (3) dans le sens des
aiguilles d'une montre pour allumer l'appareil.
Tournez la "BOUTON DE RÉGLAGE" (6) pour sélectionner
votre station de radio préférée.
Tournez la "BOUTON DE VOLUME" (3) jusqu'au niveau de
volume souhaité.
Pour la réception FM, une antenne télescopique est intégrée.
Défaites l'antenne (8) et déployez-la complètement. Vous de-
vrez peut-être ajuster la position de l'antenne pour obtenir la
meilleure réception.
Baissez complètement le volume à l'aide du "BOUTON DE
VOLUME / INTERRUPTEUR D'ARRÊT" (3) pour éteindre l'ap-
pareil.
ÉCOUTEURS
Pour permettre l'écoute privé, l'appareil est doté d'une entrée
pour écouteurs stéréo de 3.5 mm (4).
